The Breadou is made from flexible polyurethane foam (FPF). Polyurethane is the result of the chemistry of two primary materials used to make polyurethane products – methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) and toluene diisocyanate (TDI). MDI and TDI are known to be stable in the environment. When disposed, they have not shown any adverse impact on municipal waste handling processes, landfills or incineration.
